WHERE WE CAME FROM

The foundation of Immigration Capital draws from the decades of commercial real estate development experience of Richard Biegel, in collaboration with the co-founder of one of the largest privately owned consultancy, market intelligence firms in China.
 
But our story starts on a farm in the Midwest, purchased and farmed by immigrants from Germany and Ireland who risked it all to move to the United States for a better life for themselves and their children. That farm is still in the family name almost 10 generations later. There’s a Chinese saying that “Good students are brought up by strict teachers” and the work ethic and values built on that farm are the values upon what Immigration Capital is built. Nearly 50 years of experience later, our founders have been principals of, employed by, or worked with some of the most respected real estate development firms in the United States, world recognized companies like Google, and some of the top retail, hospitality and tourist destinations in the United States.
 
Our real estate development experience has included some of the highest profile real estate development projects in the United States, including the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace and Estrella, one of the largest master-planned community in the United States. Immigration Capital is a team comprised of graduates from the University of Southern California, Thunderbird School of Global Management, and University of Colorado Boulder. We have developed a trusted reputation in the EB-5 industry with the most respected immigration attorneys, securities attorneys, economists, business plan writers and immigration agents and trade associations, as they have experienced our ethics and ability to execute when it is needed most. RICHARD BIEGEL

Americas CEO

Mr. Biegel, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, has over 30 years of real estate and development experience over the course of which he has been involved in some of the highest profile real estate development projects in the US Southwest, including working for the Gordon Company during the development of the second phase of Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Thereafter, he worked for Colony Capital the 3rd largest private equity real estate fund in the world, where he underwrote over $1.2 billion in real estate assets. Since that time, he has been involved in the development or redevelopment of over 2,500,000 square feet of office, retail and multi-family properties, and over 45,000 acres of land.

Mr. Biegel holds a B.S. in Real Estate from Arizona State University and a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California.

STEPHEN FORSTER

COO

Prior to join Immigration Capital, Stephen Forster was Managing Director of Philadelphia Private Capital, responsible for the sourcing and placement of both debt and equity for commercial real estate projects.

Formerly of CanAm Enterprises. Mr. Forster has spent the last two years working throughout China raising capital for EB-5 projects in the United States. As Managing Director of Business Development for CanAm Enterprises, Mr. Forster was responsible for sourcing new construction and business expansion projects and providing EB-5 financing to those projects as a source of job-creating capital. He also established and grew two China-based offices, hired and trained China-based staff members, developed and maintained relationships with China-based sales agents and introduced projects to Chinese investors.

Prior to CanAm, Mr. Forster spent 10 years as Senior Vice President of Public Finance and Government Relations at O’Neill Properties, a King of Prussia-based privately-held brownfields redeveloper and was responsible for regional land development initiatives, including obtaining entitlements, and financing all phases of the project pipeline. Mr. Forster also managed all aspects of the company’s EB-5 initiatives and coordinated government relations. During his tenure, Mr. Forster placed over $300 million in grants and loans for acquisition, site work and remediation, construction and permanent financing.

Mr. Forster holds a B.A. in Political Science from California State University—Long Beach and a J.D. from Golden Gate School of Law in San Francisco, California. Mr. Forster is also an attorney, admitted to the California State Bar in 1994. Earlier in his career, Mr. Forster served as Associate General Counsel for HOPE worldwide, a social service non-profit organization based in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

BRENDON BIEGEL

Project Director

Brendon specialized in Urban Real Estate Development, graduating with Honors from Arizona State University. Prior to and during his undergraduate program he was employed at Biegel Co for 5 years as a real estate intern. Following his graduation he worked alongside Google in the expansion of their digital marketing program. During that time, he consulted for over 70 Small and Medium sized businesses. His experience extends into consumer goods and services, sales, medical, bio-pharma, and business development.

Before joining Immigration Capital as Project Director, he graduated from the Thunderbird School of Global Management with a concentration in international finance and business development. The program included regional studies overseas immersed in Asian and European business environments. During his MBA program he interned at Immigration Capital. As part of his degree he also consulted with professors on outside businesses, coordinated a global marketing team in 3 different countries, and developed a global pricing strategy for the multinational bio-pharmaceutical company Alpha Biosciences Inc.

ARNOLD WANG

US Marketing Director

Arnold Wang has rich experience for market development, product marketing, and strategy consulting. He brings into Immigration Capital over 10 years investment experience of a variety of industries, including construction, chemicals, electronics and consulting, etc. Prior to joining Immigration Capital, he held many management positions in multinational companies in the past, including Borouge, SIP, and Perlos as well as Rohm and Haas.

Arnold Wang has an MBA degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management with a concentration in Marketing, and he also has a BS degree in Chemistry from Xiamen University.

Danielle’s interest in international business and economics led her to pursue an international education and spent a number of years studying abroad on her way to completing her BA in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Economics.
